CHAIN GRATE BOILER
Chain Grate Boiler
A natural circulation type with single-drum. It is indoor installed with balanced
draft and inverse U-form arrangement. The boiler proper and the brick
walls, except for side walls which is supported by the cement base through wall
support pad, are mainly supported by steel structure.
Three (3) rows of screen tubes are scattered at the rear water wall of furnace outlet.
The high and low temperature superheaters in the horizontal pass, three (3) sections of
economizer tubes and a set of tubular air heater in the rear pass are arranged in
sequence along the gas flow direction.
The chain grate stoker is adopted as firing equipment which can burn wide range of
different coals. The key of this type is that it can turn over at slag automatically for
removing slag and cooling purposes.
The temperature of superheated steam is to be controlled by the surface desuperheater
which is arranged between high and low temperature superheaters. It can perfectly meet
the requirements when load varies from 70% to 100% MCR of the boiler.
