CIRCULATING FLUIDISED BED BOILER
Circulating Fluidised Bed Boiler
This boiler is of single drum, natural circulation, collecting downcomer, suitable
for in-door or semi-outdoor. The furnace is top supported and sealed by membrane
water wall. High-temperature steam-cooled cyclone is located between the outlet of
furnace and backpass. Cyclone is top supported and sealed by membrane water wall.
Superheater, economizer and air preheater are arranged in the backpass, in sequence.
Combustion system for CFB boiler consists of three parts: furnace, solid separator
an seal pot. The furnace is of membrane water walls. It has lower walls rectangular
fluidised combustion section (combuster). Water-cooled distributor with air nozzles
is in the bottom. The primary air enters developing zone through air nozzles to
realize bed material fluidisation. The primary and second air quantity can be
adjusted to control the combustion temperature, to get complete combustion, and to
control the emission of SO2 and NOx. The upper part is freeboard (developed zone).
The entrainment solid in flue gas go to high-temperature cyclone. It is separated to
combustor to be circulated and combusted. In the bottom zone of combustor, the
relative coarse materials after combustion is drained off from ash dischargers on
the air distributor.
