 COMBI BOILER
Combined Water Tube & Fire Tube Boiler
Features:
- Generous Furnace Size
The boiler is a combination of Water Tube and Fire Tube Design or what is termed as a
Combi-boiler. It is applicable to various type of fuels I.e. solid, liquid, and gas. The
Pre-furnace is of Water Tube Design while the Convection Pass is of Fire Tube Design. The
Pre-furnace being Water Tube design can be configured to any size required by the fuel
to burn completely. Generous furnace sizing produces smokeless combustion and cooler
furnace temperature. Cooler furnace temperature eliminates the slagging problem for fuels
with low ash fusion temperature.
- Membrane Wall Construction
The Pre-furnace is of membrane wall construction making it strong and rigid, and eliminating
the need of refractory, which is a high maintenance item. Membrane walls have more effective
cooling than tubes backed by refractory, thereby lowering the heat flux through the furnace
walls and making the boiler less sensitive to water quality in the system. The effective
cooling also reduces the radiation heat loss through the furnace walls that translate into
higher efficiency.
- Large Water Volume
A Combi-boiler will hold twice as much water volume compared to a bi-drum water tube boiler
of similar capacity. The Fire Tube section of the boiler acts as an accumulator during
sudden steam surge that serves as a buffer for the operating pressure. The amount of
heat energy stored in the water of the boiler is released during sudden steam demand.
A larger water volume also makes the boiler less sensitive to the water quality in
the system.
Advantages:
- Environmental friendly
- Higher Efficiency
- Stable Steam pressure
- Dry Steam
- Low Maintenance
- Higher Productivity
Our Combi-Boiler ranges from 1 ton/hr up to 30 ton/hr.
